The Role
As an Art Lead at Pigs Will Fly, you are at the forefront of guiding and inspiring our art team, fostering an environment where creativity flourishes and talents are nurtured. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the team in their day-to-day operations, ensuring it performs at its highest potential, consistently meeting goals while maintaining a focus on the artistic vision.
This role involves a close partnership with the Art Director. Together, you delve into the project's aesthetic & thematic core, working to fully capture the intended artistic vision.
The vision, once solidified, will then be translated into actionable features and tasks for the art team. You will be instrumental in this translation process, carefully aligning the scope and complexity of tasks with the team's capacity and individual skills.

Furthermore, you will work closely with our Producer, acting as a crucial link between artistic aspirations and production realities. This collaboration will ensure that our production plan is taking into account the art team's capacity and skill levels to establish realistic timelines and deliverables. Your insight will be vital in identifying potential bottlenecks and proposing solutions that maintain both artistic integrity and project momentum.
You will be an "operative lead", meaning you not only manage but also actively contribute to the development. Whether it's concept art, 3D models, or textures, your contribution will inspire and motivate the team.
Our team operates with an agile structure and mindset, where every member is an integral part of the creative process. You will be expected to effectively provide and receive feedback, fostering transparent dialogue and collaborative problem-solving to enhance our creative output.
Some of what you'll do

Required qualifications

+3 years of experience as a lead artist (or equivalent) in the video game industry.

Excellent leadership abilities, demonstrating alignment with our leadership values

The role
Pigs Will Fly is looking for a Technical Sound Designer to join our development team. Just to be clear, we are not looking for composers or musicians. If you have those strengths, that is a bonus, but what we are looking for is someone with a lot of experience working with integration of sound and audio into the Unreal 5 engine using middleware like FMOD and Wwise. 
Your work will entail crafting rich, immersive audio experiences that bring the game world to life, from evocative soundscapes to responsive, interactive elements that deepen player engagement. Your creative instincts will shape how the game sounds and feels, helping to define its emotional tone and atmosphere.
Working closely with designers, developers, and fellow audio artists, you’ll work for a shared creative audio vision. You will contribute, lead and mentor other sound designers and audio artists. You’ll also help build tools and workflows that support both experimentation and polish, enabling the team to deliver a cohesive, high-quality audio experience across platforms.
As a team we are working with an agile structure and mindset, where every member is part of the creative process, so being able to effectively communicate and provide and receive feedback is essential.
 
What you'll do

Lead the work of sound design, guiding and mentoring the team.


Create and implement immersive sound effects, ambient audio, and dynamic interactive audio content in Unreal Engine with FMOD and Wwise.


Collaborate with game developers, and fellow audio professionals to seamlessly incorporate audio into gameplay experiences.


Deliver top-tier audio quality while optimizing performance across various platforms.


Build and maintain audio tools, scripts, and workflows to streamline production and improve efficiency.

Required qualifications

At least 5 years of experience in developing video games as a Sound Designer


Experienced with FMOD in the Unreal Engine 5, with a strong understanding of its audio pipeline.


Ability to merge creative audio design with technical implementation.

What you'll do

Your main responsibility will be to create high-quality real-time effects that enhance gameplay, storytelling, and atmosphere—from explosive gameplay moments to subtle environmental details. The role
Pigs Will Fly is seeking a dedicated 3D animator to join our development team.
As a 3D animator at Pigs Will Fly you will be working with the art team but also in relationship with other members of different crafts within the project. You will be focusing on creating distinct animations for the main character, different NPCs and enemy types as well as cutscenes and cinematic dialogues, that all aims to bring life to our many characters and worlds.
As a team we are going to work with an agile structure and mindset, where every member is part of the creative process, so being able to effectively communicate and provide and receive feedback is essential.


What you'll do

Creating, managing, and implementing animation assets for the Unreal 5 engine.


Rigging


Motion Capture, both face and full body


Both quick and dirty prototypes and highly polished final art.

Required qualifications

At least 3 years of experience with 3D-animation


Experience with Blender, Maya or equivalent


Experience using Unreal control rigs

As a Tech designer at Pigs Will Fly you will collaborate with the programmers as well as with other members of different crafts within the project. you will be responsible for the technical design work by creating, implementing and maintaining tools, systems and other workflows in order to as efficiently as possibly get the design into the code.
You will collaborate closely with the Game Director of the project, giving tech and design advice, helping in articulating scoops and establishing estimates and timelines.
The project will be conducted using the Unreal 5 development ecosystem, with both blueprints and C++.
As part of the team you will have the opportunity to apply a broad skill set. There are many aspects of design to implement: NPC and enemy AI, player weapons and abilities, player locomotion, world interaction, objectives, and UI implementations.
