I din roll som Utbildningsledare tar du ett helhetsansvar för alla skeden under utbildningen. Du planerar och strukturerar utbildningen, har kontakt med relevanta branscher och är ute och möter företag för att vidareutveckla utbildningen. En stor del av din vardag fylls med kontakter med våra studerande och i din roll coachar och stöttar du studerande i sina studier. Du har tät dialog med de utbildningskonsulter som ansvarar för själva undervisningen och arbetar aktivt med näringsliv och samarbetsorganisationer för att utveckla utbildningarna samt bygger ditt och TUC:s nätverk större och bredare.

Du kommer att utgå från Jönköpingskontoret där du är en av 14 härliga utbildningsledare. Du bildar tillsammans med några andra engagerade utbildningsledare ett team som fokuserar på de tekniska utbildningarna på kontoret. Totalt är det ca 25 medarbetare som utgör det trivsamma och familjära Jönköpingskontoret. Du kommer att ansvara för utbildningar inom teknikområdet och mest troligt vår nya utbildning el- och drifttekniker inom kraft och värmeproduktion.

Vad söker vi?
Vi söker dig som har ett djupt rotat engagemang för människors utveckling, intresse för människors bildning och utbildning samt motiveras av att få vara en del av människors utvecklingsresa.

Vi tror att du har en eftergymnasial utbildning och kanske har du tidigare arbetat inom utbildningssektorn eller annan verksamhet som arbetar med människors utveckling. Vi tror att du har erfarenhet från roller som innehållit projektledning eller samordning av något slag i kombination med många kontaktytor.

Vi blir lite extra nyfikna om du har teknisk utbildning och bakgrund samt erfarenhet från yrkeshögskolan. Har du även haft någon typ av ledande position är det extra intressant, dock är det dina personliga egenskaper tillsammans med ditt engagemang för människors utveckling som är det allra viktigaste för oss.

Som person är du kommunikativ, trygg i dig själv och trivs i en roll med många olika kontaktytor. Du har förmåga att organisera och driva ditt eget arbete, har ett lösningsfokus och en god administrativ förmåga. Att få samarbeta i ett team motiverar dig och du är en lagspelare. Du håller en hög servicenivå samtidigt som du kan sätta gränser och hålla struktur. Du trivs i en skiftande roll som ofta är händelsestyrd och att möta människor med olika bakgrund är något som du ser som positivt och utvecklande. Du är orädd inför att bredda din kompetens och skapa nya kontakter och nätverk.

Du uttrycker dig obehindrat på svenska i både tal och skrift och är bekväm om det engelska språket skulle dyka upp. Tjänsteresor ingår till viss del i tjänsten, framförallt i närområdet vid LIA-besök. Ibland besöker vi även något av våra andra kontor runtom i landet.

The School of Engineering is one of four schools within Jönköping University.

We are expanding and looking for an Associate or Assistant Professor of Computer Science with a specialization in Software Security to join our team.

Job description
As an assistant/associate professor, you will teach and conduct research focusing on software security. Depending on the applicant’s background, the teaching may be centered around software development (e.g., secure design, secure code, web security, security testing, etc.) or within cybersecurity (e.g., network security, penetration testing, IDS/IPS, etc.).

You are expected to build and maintain an academic and industrial network, actively apply for research funding, and play a key role in establishing and conducting research projects. You will keep yourself updated in your research area and the industrial and societal development of relevance for our department and keep our courses and programmes contemporary. You are also expected to establish collaboration with other departments/schools at Jönköping University.

Our aim is to strengthen research groups within the following fields:

-  Security-focused development
- Cybersecurity

Qualifications
You should have a PhD in the relevant area and pedagogical merits according to the regulations for employment at Jönköping University. The candidate should also have documented skills in teaching in English. The ability to teach in Swedish, as well as industrial experience, is meritorious. Experience from research in cooperation with industry is of advantage.

The domain-specific requirements include knowledge and real-world implementation skills in security-focused development and a track record of attracting research funding from funding agencies relevant to a Swedish context.

- The ability to teach in other areas relevant to our Computer Engineering programmes (Web Development, Object Oriented Development, Electronics, Embedded Systems, etc.)

JIBS is recruiting Assistant Professors in Business Administration with one or a combination of specializations in Sustainability, Organization, and Strategy

We are seeking two candidates specialized in Sustainability in Business Administration or with an interdisciplinary background.

The first should be focused on purpose-driven organizations with a clear interest in managerial and collaborative strategies that support ecological and social goals, innovation, and societal transformation. The second candidate should be focused on environmental/ecological sustainability, decarbonization of the economy, biodiversity impacts and planetary boundaries.

For the position in Organization, we are looking for a candidate focused on topics such as organizational behaviour, organizational change, leadership, and human resource management.

For the position in Strategy, we are looking for a candidate focused on topics such as corporate strategy, strategy process, strategy practice, strategic change, international management, and project management.

The position

We offer a full-time and permanent position as Assistant Professor in Business Administration with specialization in accounting (including management accounting) and/or finance. The position comprises education activities, research, societal engagement and service to JIBS. Job description

As a Post Doc you will be dealing with relevant research projects investigate different forms of ownership, the meaning of ownership, property rights, and ownership competencies. The governance area explores the interaction between ownership and corporate governance systems and bodies in different organizations, such as foundations or family businesses, with a disciplinary grounding in strategy, and/or organization and management studies. Relevant projects within entrepreneurship could be related to ownership aspects within the entrepreneurial process. Research projects focused on owners as entrepreneurial actors, that is, enterprising and entrepreneurial families, are also very relevant. Research projects can also combine governance and entrepreneurship lenses and, ideally, forge the link to pressing challenges that business owners face in the contemporary global setting.

The successful candidate for this Post Doc position will work closely with the CeFEO Director Massimo Baù and is expected that the research conducted within the frame of this position will lead to publications in top ranked scientific journals. An ability and interest to share research findings with stakeholders outside academia is also expected.

Most of your time will be devoted to research while benefitting from and contributing in person to JIBS’ vibrant research environment. The remaining time is allocated for teaching and service to CeFEO. It is an excellent opportunity to kick-start or boost a successful research career in an active and collegial research environment.

We seek a Post Doc researcher who would like to pursue high-quality research on family businesses at Centre for Family Entrepreneurship and Ownership (CeFEO). We are particularly interested in candidates with a genuine interest in advancing ownership research and currently conduct research on topics related to governance, entrepreneurship, or family business. Moreover, the ideal candidate has a clear interest to initiate new research projects in these areas.

We invite applications from outstanding researchers with a doctoral degree (not older than three years) from a reputable university. Please note that individuals close to obtaining their PhD are also welcomed to apply if they have a date for their dissertation defense scheduled before the start of the position.

As candidates you should demonstrate your ability to perform high-quality research and display experience in ownership and/or family business research.

- Articles published in highly ranked journal (AJG3 or above), or articles in the process of being published in such journals.
- Practical experience as business owners or family business members.
- A research agenda aligned with the focus and strategy of CeFEO.

The position is a three years employment as Post Doc of 100%, starting in Autumn 2023, according to agreement.
